Obituary

Candace "Candy" Forstrom, 62, of Troy passed away peacefully Aug. 31, 2014, with family by her side at Oceanside Center in Hampton, after a period of failing health.

She was born April 15, 1952, to the late Sylvia (Ojala) and Edward Forstrom. She was, with a few brief absences, a lifelong resident of Troy. She graduated from Monadnock Regional High School and worked for many years at Bard. She also worked with the town office during election cycles and volunteered at Helping Hands. She was an artist and loved movies, chocolate, board games and pets of all varieties.

Survivors include her daughter, Shawna; brothers, Ron and Gene; sister, Priscilla; nephew, Ryan; and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Her sister Heidi died earlier.
