Obituary
Frank P. “Skip” Lackey, 59, of 276A Route 10, Gilsum, died March 16, 2012, at his home with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Keene March 25, 1952, son of Frank H. and Dorothy (Dunklee) Lackey. He had been a lifelong resident of Gilsum and graduated from Monadnock Regional High School in Swanzey in 1970.
Mr. Lackey had worked as a heavy equipment operator for the N.H. Department of Transportation for more than 20 years.
He loved spending time with his family, riding his Harley with his wife, Cathy, and his son, Frank Jr. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an avid “handyman.”
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Cathy B. (Bunker) Lackey of Gilsum; his son, Frank P. Lackey Jr., and his wife, Lisa, of Sullivan; his daughter, Melissa Lackey of Troy; a granddaughter, Savanna Lackey of Sullivan; and his dogs, Chopper, Tootsie and Gizmo.
A celebration of his life will be held Tuesday from 3 to 6 p.m. at his home, 276A Route 10, Gilsum.
